Should the United States be involved in Syria?

Rebels or Terrorist?
The White House has announced that it will support the Syrian rebels. But who are these people? Are the really freedom fighters against an evil regime, or are they just a band of Terrorists trying to overthrow the legitimately recognized government?

Whether or not we like the Assad government, he is the legitimate President of Syria and we as a
Syrian President Bashir Al Assad
nation should not be involving ourselves in its overthrow. President Obama in my opinion has committed the United States to helping in doing exactly what we stand against. Syria is in a state of total chaos and America has no business adding to it. You would think that after Afghanistan and Iraq our government would have learned that our involvement in these conflicts have done nothing to improve the situation, but has helped to bring more death and hatred to our very doorstep.

Vladimir Putin & President Obama
We have a long history of minding everyone else's business but our own and it's time for us to take care of home first and let others fight their own battles. Don't get me wrong, I sympathize with the people of Syria but its not our fight and now the decision to support the rebels is placing a strain on US/Russian relations and this is what we cannot afford.  True the Russian government is not the shining example of freedom but they are a stable government that happens to be a Superpower nation.

What's your opinion? We want to hear from you. Should the UNited States arm the rebels, support the Syrian government, or just mind it's business?

The Bakken! America's Second Gold Rush (Documentary)

The rush is on.........! This past Winter I had the opportunity to take part in
harvesting Americas most precious commodity, Oil.  9 months working in the Bakken Oil Fields of North Dakota has shown me a different side of the argument for energy independence in America.

Thousands of Americans from all parts of the country have flocked to North Dakota and Montana to work in the highly lucrative oil industry.  But many are quickly disillusioned to find that the work is long, hard, and extremely dangerous.  And although the earnings are high, the cost of living is even higher leaving many oil workers even deeper in debt.

This documentary will explore the industry from the inside out.  Through the eyes of the workers, the truck drivers, the pushers, and the locals who love and hate them.

Should Cheerios Pull this AD? What do you think?

It's hard to believe that in 2013 we are still having to deal with racism. In a time when bi-racial families are just a normal part of everyday society we still have those who believe that it's a sin to mix and intermingle. What's worse is the racism that lives within the different races for example: Dark skinned Blacks vs. Light skinned Blacks. General Mills in my opinion should be applauded for finally not taking the so called safe route in advertising and producing a commercial showing a family that is more representative of American society today. I find it to be more common than not that we have mixed couples and families all across the country. Thank you General Mills for being honest enough and bold enough to finally do what was needed for so long, truth in advertising.

The Billoard rundown

Taylor Swift was last nights big winner at The Billboard Music Awards. The show overall was lack luster at best with most of the performances being mediocre and boring.  Justin Bieber clearly wasn't a crowd favorite as he was boo'd while accepting his award for best artist.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants.

The Collapse of Camelot?

The past few weeks have been difficult to say the least for President Obama. The Benghazi issue has been a smoldering ember that is growing into a political firestorm and now reports that the Internal Revenue Service was unfairly targeting conservative groups just adds to the fire.

Are we witnessing the end of Camelot or is it all just overhyped political games orchestrated by a few Obama haters seeking to give an advantage to Republicans in the next election cycle?  It would appear that the White House is totally out of touch and has no control of the the governmental establishment. The government has grown so large that no one man could possibly manage it.

We as a society has grown too dependent on a government that we should be dependent upon at all. It was never intended for the federal system to take care of us. Our constitution doesn't guarantee that everyone lives a comfortable lifestyle. It only guarantees us the Liberty and Freedom to pursue a lifestyle of our own choosing.

It's not fair that I or you should be forced to take care of others.  It should be by choice that we as citizens offer charity. There are so many dividing lines drawn in our society now that we have no liberty or freedom. President Obama may have meant well with his social restructuring but his policies are contrary to our constitutional founding and is destroying our nation. With our national debt out of control we can no longer afford to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders.  We need to take care of home now.

You may or may not agree with this.  I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.  Feel free to comment.
